'Attempt to call a nil value'

Error message: 'Attempt to call a nil value'.

I know I've seen this discussed before but I can't: a) remember the answer; and b) find the thread with 'Search'...

It has popped up when starting a Flight on a few occasions and I have just clicked 'OK' and ignored it.

What is causing this message? And how to correct the error?

Are you running the latest Accu-sim core update?

Are you loading from the same saved flight, have you tried starting a new flight rather than loading from a flight?

Thanks for the reply, Lewis.

I finally found the answer on the forum: My saved flight was presumably corrupt, because nothing worked, the hangar showed several serious faults but clicking on 'Check Engine' or 'Complete Overhaul' did nothing...

So I reloaded the P-51 and re-saved the flight. Result: 'General Condition... Like New'!
