After downloading the A2A P-51, for $29.99, and loading it into FSX 10, I am unable to start it. It sounds like like it is turning over but the prop is not rotating and it will not start. i have used the manual way as well as Ctrl+E. Any suggestions?

Hello Michael,

thanks for posting.

Have you tried using the auto start option under the shift -3 panel and also checked you fuel tanks have fuel in them, and that the correct tanks are selected.

thanks,
Lewis

I don't know what the shift-3 panal is. The tanks are full, the tank indicator is on the left tank, but the prop does not turn when starting. So it sounds like an electrical problem of some sort.

Hello,

Please use the shift + 3 panel to try an auto start. The shift + panels are a default part of FSX and allow you to access 2d pop up panels from the cirtual cockpit.

The manual for the mustang can be found on your computer under start >> all programs >> A2A Simulations. It is worth the flick through to get some of the basics if new to FSX or 3rd party aircraft.

thanks,
Lewis

Actually, I fixed the problem by loading SP2. Everything works now.

It just goes to show that people don't read as they buy or install :-) .
I think it says that SP2 or Acceleration is required for the product to work

Hey guys dont be too harsh, when it comes to tech support SP2 missing is the majority of calls for A2A. from experienced simmers to new simmers 90% are SP2 issues after reinstalls of FSX etc.
