no worries Lewis, you make 'em, I paint 'em.
Next batch, all of the 506th Fighter Group, based on Iwo Jima in 1945, for the Very Longe Range fighter attacks on Japan. Imagine, flights of up to 9 hours, mainly over water...

Re: Jan Kees' P-51D paints
These are awesome but on a few like "sherman was right" the prop blades are shiny is that on purpose or did you forget them when doing the spec
AKA "Memey"
Re: Jan Kees' P-51D paints
Oh? No, that was not planned. Most of them, I did not change from the FSX version, so I'm not sure what happened. I do have the feeling everything is much shinier in P3D, maybe that could cause this. Is it all of them, or just a few?HE11DUDE04 wrote:These are awesome but on a few like "sherman was right" the prop blades are shiny is that on purpose or did you forget them when doing the spec

I have KI-Y and it is fine but I only know of it being an issue on "sherman was right" and "princess pat" it will probably be on the ones that weren't changed from fsxjcblom wrote:Oh? Re: Jan Kees' P-51D paints
mmh, I found 5 of them so far:
G4-A, G4-E, IV-M, IV-B and WZ-S. The problem was with the alpha of the normal, where the prop blades were grey instead of white. No idea why, a few others I checked were fine.
I have uploaded new versions of the these 5 on sim-outhouse, could you check if these are better?
I am on the road again, and don't have P3D on my ancient laptop, so I can't check myself. Just changing the texture files almost brought it to its knees...
If you find more, just let me know and I'll see what I can do. Who would have thought that changing to P3D and reuploading all these Mustangs would give so much hassle...?
