Iron Horse Prevail-Coming Soon

Coming Soon........Prevail

So this project went from an experiment in metals and flame rendering to this........a rough and tough racer with an apocalyptic vibe. 8)

I like the "heavy iron" look. Looks like something you'd see in a Mad Max movie  It has a tough, "I'm comin' fer ya" look. The flames?.. Meh... I am curious what all you had to do with the spec file, alpha layers & fresnel file. Looks like there may have been some time involved getting the right texture and tint.

Well done Sir. (there should be a thumbs up emoji)

Mad max? That's a good idea 8) This is actually just the primary sheet and alpha layer pulling the default spec layer. I'm still playing with the spec and spec alpha and will probably get some more shots up today if I can get what I'm going for on those sheets. The flames were an experiment in rendering and will most likely be tweaked some more.

Thanks for the input Roger

Hmm, maybe a suggestion on the undercarriage. I did a black powder coating on mine and then shined up the chrome strut a bit. Might fit your skin well? Without the shine of course.

Thanks Roger, little by little, I will get sections done now that I have a direction for this project. The dark undercarriage does look good.

Looking good, man!!

I'm just getting back into the P3D scene after almost a year without any joystick setup. Lost a lot of my favourite Mustang paints forever when I deleted the P3D v2 folder without thinking, and now a lot of the download hosts for the skins are gone. :(

Prevail looks like it's going to be a beautiful start to rebuilding my collection!!

Thank you Sir. She's not quite ready for prime time yet and there is an issue with the alpha rendering in v4 that I'm hoping will be addressed by the A2A team in short order. I'm still digging for a few parts yet as I only have the civilian version and I'm also throwing around some ideas in the pit. Rest assured though, she will get done
