Well, the J-2113 would do. Would you need some additional detail pictures - possibly about some stencils that are not visible (however there are not many)? I will do a quick visit at Dübendorf and take a few pictures. Maybe something shows up. Thank you already now for your effort!

Well I'm not sure what the small triangle insignias on the upper nose are, so if I could have 90 deg pics of those, and if you could could get me a close-up 90 deg angle shot of the J-2113 (in case I can't find the font), that would help. Any detail you want, just snap a pic. I've completed the main stuff, which was just the main insigs and the verkehrsblau anti-glare, and its looking just like the real thing in your initial pics. Does it have canvas control surfaces or aluminum?

EDIT: Does it still retain the original USAF stencil s/n markings under the left side cockpit?

I would like to request a repaint of Steve Hinton's mustang, Wee Willy II, which currently resides at the Planes of Fame Air museum in Chino, California:

I'll be at the museum this afternoon and try to take all necessary pictures. Those Mustangs were of quite late build so they all have aluminum control surfaces.

Ok, here are some details on the various letterings. There is nothing visible pointing to the initial serial number. I'm not sure whether all markings are 100% original. I couldn't find anybody there who could give me additional information. According to it's J (=Jagdflugzeug) number 2113 it should be serial no. 44-73349, but even that is not 100% confirmed. Not important at this stage anyway. I would just like to see a replica of this J-2113 A/C as it is the only survivor of all 130 Swiss Mustangs :( .

Here are the details. Inorder to save space in this thread I give you the links rather than publish all pictures.

Position of triangles on the left nose cowl

Layout of the first two (green) triangles

Layout of the rearmost (reddish) triangle

Fuselage tank filler and static grounding connection

Squadron insignia (left side only)

Make sure the proportions of the Swiss Cross are exactly like this

Swiss Serial Marking

Tire Pressure on both Main Gear doors

Tire Pressure on both Tailwheel doors

Markings on the left rear fuealge

External Power Connection on thr right rar fuselage

Wing Tank Filler markings

lMarkings on the Aileron Tab

Marking on both Flaps

Marking on the Left Flap/Rear Fuselage

Well, that's all about this bird. Still a few things to do, huh  ? BTW I just noted that the Rudder is canvas covered. No idea though (again) whether this is standard or not. Don't get too much puzzled about the fact that some of the Markings are in French. This was quite common within Swiss Airforce A/C.

Happy painting!

Okay, good detail. Thanks for the pictures; I'll add these things. Give me a day or two to make this look good.

Here is my first render of J-2076, which is close. I pass a lot of time to find the good metal look, and I begin to be happy with the result...
But the stencils are still the american ones... If you want, we can do some cooperation...

Here's the only screenshot I've got at this moment. Today in Payerne... weather was rainy, it don't help to see...

I've also done J-901, but my first purpose is to familiarize myself with the paintkit, which is great...

Any chance to get any one of these or previously released repaints in some really dirty/weathered schemes? I mean, muddy airfield = gear completely mudded, flap spray, tires, mud and stuck grass etc.? Would be very compelling!

Really wouldn't want to FLY that way...

In the summer months around water or dirt/grass strips planes get gross in a hurry. Especially just after it rains. I would love to see some dirty landing gear/gear doors, as completely clean wheels/tires and gear is pretty unrealistic (maybe not if you're always washing the plane down completely after each flight). For the most part gear are dirty more often than not. Especially on dirty or grass strips, not to mention the bug spatter that accumulates faster than oil leaks sometimes...hit the right time of day and you've got "clouds" of bugs. I totally respect to each his own. I would just like to see some good old dirty landing gear...if anyone is up to it. the Warbird variants are kept pristine, as they should be :) But the work horses need a bath...
