accu feel installation

Post by flyer12 »

I am running a Windows 10, b4 bit operating system.

I have downloaded, unzipped, and installed the Accu-feel software. It was loaded to my microsoft/flight simulator x file. I then executed my FSX program, but there is no change, and I do not have the "TOOLS", AND THE "ADDONS" tabs along the top after I press the "ALT" key. Am I doing something wrong?

Please help, as I would like to start using this as soon as possible.

I have fixed the problem by adding 2 paragraphs of code:

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>A2A Feel</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>Modules\A2A_Feel.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>AccuFeelMenu</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>Modules\AccuFeelMenu.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>

to the [C:\users\"type your user name here"\appdata\roaming\microsoft\fsx\dll.xml] file.

I do feel that having to research the forum to find a similar problem is not the best way to handle the support for your products. This could be a long and exhausting search and you may still not find an answer.

All that said, I have used the product only briefly and it seems to be working fine. It does add a more realistic feel to flying.

Hello,

glad to see you got yourself sorted, that's a common issue with the platform and is one of the first thing listed in the FAQ troubleshooting guide.

thanks,
