I have noticed a couple of topics about the missing "Addon" menu in FSX. Today out of the blue I lost my "Addon" menu but have now managed to retrieve it so this may help others.
I have FSUIPC installed, FS recorder and of course Accu-feel all of which should appear - none did.
I managed to resolve it and get the menu back by running the FSUIPC4.exe again and even though I got a message saying it was already installed correctly when I went back into FSX the "Addon " menu had returned with all of the above available.
Hope this helps as it's had me sick as a dog all afternoon.
