I installed Accu-Feel after I purchased it and it seemed to work fine. A day later when I tried to load my default flight the textures on the scenery would not get completed. The plane panel would load but it would just get stuck loading outside scenery I do not get a CTD and FSX seems to continue running but the graphics/outside sceneryis not loading. I deleted the Acc-Feel program from my computer, started FSX up and the scenery loaded as it should. I reinstalled Acc-Feel and it would not load outside scenery again so I deleted it a second time. Any idea what would be causing this to happen?

Here are my specs:

Dell XPS 700
Intel Core2 Duo processor w/DualCore technology w/2MB cache
4GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz
512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX Plus Video Card

This sounds like your system is loading a lot of programs, and Accu-Feel may be just the last one pushing it over the edge. Do you have a 64bit or 32bit Windows? As Lewis mentioned, 3rd party scenery can be brutal on resources.

Scott.

I have a 32 bit Windows XP. It is default scenery but there are addons like Aerosoft cities (Detroit)and Instant Scenery items there. I didn't think Accu-Feel would be a large enough draw on my system to cause it to delay so long, like 10 minutes. Maybe it is but if that is the case I guess I would be better off just deleting it as I do not want to reduce what I have in the way of scenery. I realize you can't expect to have everything considering what I have but again I guess it is just a matter of preferences and apparently there is just too much for Accu-Feel to handle. Thank you for the reply.

rvc72 if its just default then this shouldnt be happening. Can you please run a test and try it without being near your dense scenery, maybe just pick a random airfield in the uk so its all default just to check.

Accu-feel has next to no impact on FSX performance, certainly alot less than aircraft etc. Could your AV program be interferring with the read/write part of accu-feel causing a visible delay as it tries to scan the files etc each time they are used?

thanks,
Lewis - A2A

Yes, I will reinstall Accu-Feel and try it in a default scenery without any addon scenery and let you know how it works.

ok, I reinstalled Accu-Feel and used a default scenery with no addons and it worked fine. Obviously you were right when you thought the scenery I was loading from used too much memory causing the hangup I was experiencing, don't know why I didn't know this! Thanks for the help.
