Hi Tech Support,
I had the directx install problem and used your link so got past that. The install appears to have completed successfully but other than slight tire screech I hear nothing different. I tried the stalls but didn't get any wind rush at recovery, tried an extreme dive and nothing, no brake squeal, no wind noise with door open, etc. I get the menu and it appears they way yours did in the video and I can change the settings and save it but nothing changes in the airplane (default C172). I moved a lot of the sliders all the way up and still nothing. What should I try next?
I also am having some difficulty with my default 172 views not working correctly but that might just be an FSX thing, don't know yet.

Here are my specs in case they help: FSX Gold; ORBX PNW demo installed; Windows 7 Home Premium x64; Intel Core i7-2600 3.4 GHz quad-core w/Hyper Threading; ASUS P8P67 EVO LGA 1155; G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB DDR3 1333 (x4); EVGA GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) Superclocked 1280MB; 2 WD Caviar Black 1TB (setup in RAID 1 for mirroring); Intel Core i7 compatible Dark Knight-S1283V

Thanks
Jerry

Hello Jerry,

try changing your FSX volume. Sounds like everythings working ok, but volume maybe an issue for you on your setup. Try turning the ingame FSX sounds down to see if you get the accu-feel sounds coming through.

The subtle shakes etc should be there though, try making a fast taxi in the default C172 across the airport from tarmac to grass etc just to confirm.

thanks,
Lewis

Thanks for the response Lewis,
I had tried that before I sent my post without any luck but while I was waiting for my post to show up I kept reading the other install problem posts that I had not seen before. I checked to see if I had all the files in the right place and did. Then I found one of them that had a mention of the simconnect install so I figured I couldn't loose anything and I tried that. Then ran the 172 around the airport and it appears the major goodies are working now. I haven't tested all of them but it looks like I am in business now. Sure glad to see such great support here. So now I have 15 minutes on Accu-feel and love it so far. Bigger A/C should be a real kick.
Have a great weekend. Thanks again for your support.
Jerry

Brilliant stuff Jeff, remember although Accu-Feel will create a template for you to use, we have totally left it up to you to how you want things to work. You can have what ever you want using the sliders to create the immersion and realism that is right for you personally. I know Scott here at A2A personally loves tire screech and so tends to always whack that up loud as thats his personal immersion winner, for me I like the cabin slider enabling me to make my defauly cessna sound like a 2nd hand car, a work horse with a bit of character to it.

thanks,
Lewis - A2A
