After buying Accu Feel and running the installer, it said that Accu Feel was successfully installed. However, after starting FSX, Accu Feel did not appear in the "Addons" menu of FSX. I uninstalled and tried installing again, but this time on the DirectX installer it said that DirectX failed to install (I don't think this was the problem because on the previous attempt to install it said the version of DirectX I had was either newer or up to date to the version it was trying to install.) After the DirectX issue that I am pretty sure is not the cause of the problem because of my previous statement, again the installer said Accu Feel was successfully installed. Then, I started FSX and again it did not appear under the "Addons" menu. After about two hours of install attempts, I finally resorted to emailing support. Support replied and told me to go FAQ for troubleshooting or use the forms for Accu Feel support. First, I tried the FAQ suggestion but that didn't work but it did get rid of the DirectX issue. Now I am seeing if anybody on the forms can help me fix the Accu Feel issue I am having before I go to my last resort of completely re installing FSX, FSX Acceleration, and every other piece of freeware and payware software for FSX. Any suggestions that could possibly fix this problem I am having with Accu Feel would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

which of the solutions did you try from the FAQ?

I'd also recommend installing this; viewtopic.php?f=90&t=31105

If using windows 7 64bit remember to right click the installer and select run as administrator.

thanks,
Lewis

In the FAQ I tried the link that was sent to me by the developer. viewtopic.php?f=89&t=28627

I also tried running as administrator and it still didn't show up. Then I downloaded what you recommended and still didn't work. I purchased Accu Feel from fspilotshop.com and not directly from the A2A website. Could this have any affect on the result I am getting?

Thanks,
Sam

Hello Sam,

I'm the one who sent you the link to the FAQ. Can you please tell me which of the troubleshooting solutions listed on the FAQ you have tried so we can proceed troubleshooting your issue.

For example have you checked your dll.xml to check the launch entries are listed correctly, or tried the .dll's offered on the FAQ?

The menu not showing is normally a case of the above not being inserted at all or the .dll being corrupt and formatted incorrectly.

thanks,
Lewis - A2A

Accufeel and FSUIPC did not show in my menu. Ran FSUIPC4. EXE and both reappeared. FSX asked if I accepted a certain.dll to run and then all went well. Found this solution on another site...
