Prepar3d V2

Post by gpf »

Will there be an update or product reintroduction for Accu-Feel that enables it to work in Prepar3d V2?

Thank you.

Some have installed Accu-Feel into P3d by placing a dummy fsx.exe into the P3D install folder and pointing the installer to this folder.

Works fine for me.
I manually installed it though by copying the files across from FSX and editing the dll.xml

I followed your instructions. I now see Accu Feel in the drop down but it will not load the aircraft. The Accu panel is turned off with no defaults loaded. I can toggle Accu Feel on, aircraft on but all features are off. I can put percentages under all the options and turn on the volume, but in the simulation, nothing takes effect.

You will need to run through the troubleshooting steps on the forums I believe and maybe perform a reinstall but as noted the product was never designed to work in P3D so we cannot be sure of results.

thanks

Hi, I installed per the instructions, and do see AFv2 in the dropdown menu on P3Dv2. But, the toggles do not save and the effects appear to not work. Can you share what else you did to make it work? Thanks!

Thanks Lewis. I have searched and have found nothing that helps. To bad that Accu-Feel will not work in Prepar3d V2. I really enjoyed that software. My future is with Prepar3d V2 however.

gpf, just to check you have everything installed corectlly you should have the following folders and files.

Prepar3D v2\A2A\Feel\Sounds.pk and sound_log
there will be others files in that folder but there not necessary for it to work.

Prepar3D v2\Modules\A2A_Feel.dll and AccuFeelMenu.dll

and your dll.xml should have two entries in it

Code: Select all

	<Launch.Addon>
		<Name>A2A Feel</Name>
		<Disabled>False</Disabled>
		<Path>Modules\A2A_Feel.dll</Path>
		<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
		<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
	</Launch.Addon>
	<Launch.Addon>
		<Name>AccuFeelMenu</Name>
		<Disabled>False</Disabled>
		<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
		<Path>Modules\AccuFeelMenu.dll</Path>
	</Launch.Addon>
That should be it, if you have all that it should work.

Glad you got it working OK in the end.
Accu-Feel is one of those addons that you don't think you really need at first but cant live without once you tried it.
