The A2A Simulations Community

I use both Accufeel and FS-Force with FSX. Both of which significantly improve the immersion factor and seem to work together really well.
Has anyone out there created FS-Force profiles for the A2A planes (or any of the standard ones for that matter). The concept of profiles for different aircraft types is really good but unless you actually fly in real life you have no idea of what is realistic.

What joystick are you using ? A particular profile will have different forces depending on the manufacturer. I have several profiles that I use in my Logitech G940. As far as having knowledge of the forces in the real aircraft that would be a difficult project. I try to create a profile that feels right for the particular aircraft. I use the information gleaned from reading a pilots comments on the control forces and harmony or lack of. A good source is to watch the "Roaring Glory Warbird" Series. You get inside the cockpit while the aircraft is being flown and pilot comments about it's control characteristics. I have several profiles for the G940 that you are welcome to try. The default profiles that come with the FS Force software are too heavy for the 940 in my opinion. The G940 is a capable of relatively strong forces.

I use the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 stick. I would be interested in seing your profiles just to determine what relative changes you have made for the different aircraft categories and then I may be able to re-scale them for the Microsoft joystick.

Here are some profiles you may be able to use. I have included my current A2A aircraft assignments. The names of the profiles may not correspond to the particular aircraft name. I am always messing around with them and creating new profiles and naming them as I go. You will find that the same profile used in a different aircraft will not feel exactly the same. You can always open the profile in the editor and makes changes. The profiles go in your FSForce CFG file which is located in documents and settings. Once you copy them they will show up in FSX and the FSForce profile editor. If you need any help let just me know.
