Hi wondered if anyone could help, recently updated my p40 and b17 and now every time i load a flight with them they load with the wheels in the up position. How can i fix this.
Thanks in advance
James

Re: Accu-sim loading with wheels up
Hey there James, I don't have the P-40 but I did have that problem with the B-17 and the P-51. What I did was load the Beach Barron in FSX then switch aircraft to the B-17. I then selected cold and dark and then exit the program. The next time I used the aircraft after doing this the gear was down. You may have to go into the maintance hanger and check for damage if using accusim as there will likely be damage to be repaired from the gear being up, there was for me. Just to let you know I am using FSX so I don't know if this process will work with other simulators. Hope this helps you out.

Re: Accu-sim loading with wheels up
Hello,
It sounds like your default flight is in a gear up position. If you move it to a gear down position you will be able to load the simulation correctly.
Thanks,
Lewis

Hi Lewis this is along the same lines with p40. Plane loads gear up, plane on runway, put jacks on, hydraulically pump gear to down , remove jacks, plane plane turns on end upside down violently burns. All updates in place. I think another time after pumping gear down under same conditions before removing jacks I went to hanger repaired and when I returned jacks were gone plane good to go. Just some input to you
