There's a major glitch with the Zip version built in to Windows, unfortunately.
I got around it by using WinRAR, but there are cheaper alternatives that that!

Re: It don't work!!!
winrar, winzip, 7zip lots of alternative. However corruption on a downloaded file, 99% f the time means a bad download unfortunatly.

Re: It don't work!!!
Lewis,
For months now, since an update, Windows some Vista and 7 installations have been reporting some zips as being invalid. It seems to depend on how the zip was created.
Mrs. P's W7 64 installation doesn't suffer from it, mine does. Both of our Vista PCs suffer from it. There are complaints about it all over the support forums. I couldn't open either of the zips I received last night with W7's internal functionality, but WinRAR extracted them both successfully first time.
WinRAR, by the way, is not free - it's shareware. It will keep opening files after the trial period has expired, but will pointedly remind you that you should have paid for it to keep using it, unless that's changed very recently (since I last installed and neglected to register it). There are other alternatives which are free, though. I just happen to be a long-term WinRAR user for when Windows doesn't work and from the days when it was a lot cheaper than Winzip, pre Windows getting the built in zip tools!
Cheers,
Ian P.

For what it's worth, I also think it might be a corrupt download. Yesterday I downloaded both the P-40 zip and the accusim zip files. The accusim zip file extracted fine with Windows, but I kept getting a "Jzip doesn't support this type of file..." for the P-40 zip. I downloaded the file again and then it unzipped just fine.

Re: It don't work!!!
Sounds like a bug in the server when it becomes loaded, corrupting the download.
Best regards,
Robin.

Hi Guys
Can you tell me if I will have the same problems if I download the P40 from Simmarket? or does it link to A2A's server? or has the issue been resolved here?
Thanks
Stewart
