Checklist (plaque carded)

Post by erikx »

Subsequent to the B-17, P-51 and Spitfire I made up a checklist for the P-40B.

After downloading the pdf: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hr50r6uzx5sxz ... k.pdf?dl=0 you can print it and make your plaque carded version out of it.

If you don't want to spend the ink, a less authentic version in white is here:

For everyone that is interested, I found a real world “Official A.A.F. Pilot's Checklist”, used in the cockpit of the P-51D during WWII!

See topic: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 93&t=33669

Has someone seen somewhere versions of the other A2A aircraft/fighters (i.e. the P-40)?

Regards, erikx

For people that are interested in the real world usage of the checklist in WWII airforces, at UC San Diego there is some interesting research going on of Roger Bohn.

Most recently he published a paper: NOT FLYING BY THE BOOK: SLOW ADOPTION OF CHECKLISTS AND PROCEDURES IN WW2 AVIATION.

Wow those are great  . Thank you very much for making those.

Does anyone by chance have a cruise power setting table/performance chart (like the one from the C182 or the C172) for the P-51D? I can't seem to find a good performance chart (maybe even with fuel economy data) on the P-51D with the Merlin-Packard-V1650-7. It would be great to have this data for long haul flights. Especially when you're pushing the range to the limit

Thank you
