Hello this is my first post on this forum but i keep an eye since the first accusim plane
you have bring the revolution in the flight sim community and im really enjoying to fly those planes
now i have to questions regarding the flaps and the oxygen supply
1.when i select the flap lever from netrual to down position i can see my flaps deploy at about 20 degrees without pressing the trigger of the stick
is that the way is supposed to be..[p-40 with accusim 1.4 core update]
i ask this because i though that the flaps works like the landing gear
select up or down- press the trigger--and back to netrual

2.when i fly at about 30.000 feet and have my oxygen mask already on my pilot and select the flow to be at 12.000 feet below nothing happens
[like in spitfire that pilot have Hypoxia if you doesn't select the mask and altittude of the oxygen supply indicator]

thats it
thanks again for your help and any replys
salute...

They will move slightly because of the built up hydraulic pressure.

This should be occurring, and I'm sure the guys will test it. It's possible you could just be getting enough of a trickle for it to work. Why are you at 30,000 feet?

thanks for your fast reply
the first time when i start the engine and test the flaps they did move slightly down and i press the trigger to the fully down position
when i select again same thing happens
they are going down 15-20 degrees without the trigger but for fully down position i have to press the trigger a little
so you tell me is that the way they work..ok...not a problem then

as for 30.000 feet i always love to go high just to test her sometimes
is a plane isn't it...

Yeah Cody is right. There is often residual pressure in the system. One good example is after landing when you bring up the flaps. Often you do not need to press the pump button because there is enough pressure left over in the system to operate without need of the pump. This is likely from lowering the flaps/gear during final and holding the pump on longer for a little bit to help make sure the gear is fully down, thus keeping the hydraulic lines pressured for next use.

Cheers
TJ
