Hey guys,
After messing around with fresnel files for the P-51, I wanted to see if I could make the P-40 shiny. I couldn't get quite the same shine as 'Stang Evil but it certianly has a shine now.
I modeled it after this Planes of Fame museum P-40.

Here is my result.

Hey Trucker, I don't suppose you have any info on this static PoF P-40 pictured in the first post, if you have any serial/ID numbers that would be great.

Cheers

pilottj - So to get a shiny P-40 all I'd have to do is copy the Squeaky clean env file? I'll have to try that, love shiny planes.

*EDIT* Hmmmm, shiny. Image

Thanks for the pics Zenandzen, looks like I need to remove all the stenciling lol. Think I will keep the N-reg just for virtual FAA sake...N40PF.

Hiya somethingfake. It is a combination of the env file and the P-51 fresnel5 file replacing(renaming to) the P-40 fresnel3 file. I am finishing up playing with metal tones on the shiny scheme then will upload it. You can just copy the fresnel and env textures to your desired schemes and that should do the trick.

Actually the blueing makes it look unique and differant.....You could almost say its been anodized.....Now if you could make the emblems transparent...?
would be very differant......
