You realize Dudley used to fly P-51 Mustangs? Among many other warbirds as well in his log book?

Sorry Dudley. By the way I am still bummed I didn't have a Washington VFR Sectional.

My interest in this is to handle historical flights such as ferrying over the Atlantic or over the Hump patrols. Don't think I would attempt a precision approach but want enough navigation capability to rendevous with the C-47s and get me close to an airfield to land.

Adding a range receiver to the panel would be very helpful.

I did not realize he was a 51 pilot. Nice. Not disagreeing with him at all. I am also a Pilot although I do more of Extreme bushflying more than anything.
