Accu-Feel and sounds in B377

Post by Destroy »

I own the separate Accu-Feel addon and use it wonderfully on all my other planes. I also obviously own the COTS B377.

I noticed that the Accu-Feel pull down menu within FSX is greyed out for the B377.

Is there no way to adjust the movement and sounds created by the Accu-Feel feature set for the B377?

Did you try turning it on in the Accu-Feel menu?

No, I assumed it wasn't select-able or enable-able since it is greyed out.

So with your implication, if the addon version of Accu-Feel is enabled within the COTS B377, will this override and negate the built in B377 effects or simply enhance/suppliment them?

Well on initial try, I don't see the addon Accu-Feel altering anything the B377 does audibly.

Will report back if I see any affect at all but so far nothing noticed.

I think you can turn it on. However, what it adds or doesn't is really unknown since the 377 really doesn't need accufeel. Either way, it shouldn't hurt anything.

We have it off by default because of the above.

Ok, I had more time to test this out.

After some gross adjustments, I can definitely say the addon Accu-Feel does add on effects and sounds like any other plane.

My initial goal was to turn down the volume of default B377 effects, primarily the shake/shudder noise. Sadly, this does not work.

I hope the upcoming Constellation has better customization as far as annoying sounds.
