HOw do you ensure the B377 always has engines off at start

You should use the menu I mentioned to run your flightsim.

EG.changing aircraft, changing scenery,running addons, and weather etc,etc

You should also use it to set the required settings for A2A.such as turning off coordinated turns and allowing advanced animation etc

How did you manage to set these options without using this menu?

Really ? I usually just his ESC and do it all from the main menu.

Have you unticked auto rudder,auto mixture and unlimited fuel in the aircraft menu?

Have you ticked advanced animations and the other requirements as per A2A?

If you have not done this your A2A aircraft will not work properly.

Well first of all I'm glad you got your default flight figured out correctly with the stock C172. If the engine on the stock aircraft comes up stopped I'm fairly confident that it also will on the Strat!

And then I would definetly follow speedy70's advice and check that all the settings in the sim are as required by the A2A manuals in order to run the simulations correctly. The manuals (I think it's in the QuickStart part) have a section on how your sim should be configured (regarding realism and other settings) in order for the addons to work properly. After your have made all those changes save your default flight again just to make sure those settings are loaded each time!

Everything is as per A2A bar unlimited fuel. I never use auto rudder or auto mixture else the C172 goes haywire so I changed that when I first installed the C172. The unlimited fuel will affect the realism for A2A fuel model but this does not bother me at all.

Whilst A2A advise some settings are a must, other settings are "strong recommendations" to ensure accu-sim works as accurately as possible. Since I am not fussed with the fuel portion. It is not an issue. I do of course acknowledge that the unlimited fuel might cause unforseen issues but if there is something odd, I'll check it through.

The persistent engine was to do with the default and using ESC and SAVE instead of saving DIRECTLY. Piper solved this. Thank you SO much Piper_EEW you are fantastic !

This is an FSX issue not anything to do aith accu-sim and A2A.

How do I know ? Because the problem is now solved.

and unlimited fuel stays ticked as this is my preference until I play with fuel some more.

As for the unlimited fuel I would consider not to use unlimited fuel. The B377 can carry a lot of fuel and if you just fill it up before each flight you'll be all set. But if you prefer to use unlimited it is your choice of course. But be aware of the possible issues that might come from that.

I shall indeed consider the fuel option. I am REALLY getting into the B377 far more than what I first suspected. I LOVE starting the engines. Won't be long before I have a go at the FE panel

Sorry, I've never gone multiplayer. I am a strictly single player/offline person.
So your B17 in multiplayer always starts with the engines on but single player mode it starts with the engines off ?

well there is no such things as always and never, but yes, pretty close to that . My default flight is the default C172, cold and dark.

I have NEVER gone online multiplayer and NEVER will. They are two definites I will always stick to. I am strictly always a singleplayer offline and always will be.

Yes the engines are not on when I start the B377 BUT

1) all the mags are on
2) master battery is on

The default C172 which is what loads up has all those off.

Yes I know that. But if I turn off the mags and the master battery and then leave the simulation. The mags and master battery on the B377 should not all be already set this is what I was getting at

For those features you might have to wait until A2A update it. Those features only appeared in the last few aircraft.
