Hi guys

I have had the 377 for a while now and have just started to fly her again.

I have the p-51,p-40 and spitfire and the sounds are simply amazing !!

The Sound in the flightdeck of the 377 are good but the sound in the external view are really quiet can hardly hear the engines.... all the sound sliders are at 100 in fsx

Is there anyway that will increase the external sounds ?? would love to hear those large radials purring

Thanks
Chris Finlay

I have no idea where Lewis got the idea that there is some sort of "installation problem." Bottom line is that the volume of the external sounds is just low. If you want the engines to really "roar" and you aren't afraid of foofing something up, I guess you could always just use a sound app to increase the volume of the various external .wavs and then re-save them...

We have noticed an issue in that, if not installed in the correct order then sounds will indeed be lower than expected. Hence the checking BJS

Another point,I have Creative X-Fi sound card,by setting entertainment mode or game mode also changes the sound. I keep mine in game mode even though I have 5.1 surround sound,it's better on the graphics with my system,Entertainment mode just does not work very well for me.
Now I don't know what sound device you use, wonder if this might be the issue, makes a lighter sound on the exterior of the plane versus in the cockpit.

Best Regards
MArk S.
