With the B-17 I can set up a flight plan and on the popup window select fs autopilot rather than B-17 autopilot. This then turns the aircraft to the heading on the flight plan. But in the 377 I can find no way to do this. Any suggestions?

GPS...Stratocruiser...HERESEY! Please see my avatar...

I think it needs to be done in the aircraft.cfg file, if possible. Because there is no parameter to utilize the default FSX autopilot, I don't think the 1940's one can be used to follow GPS, since it is only a linear, two-axis device.

The autpilot is already setup. Simply select a button(since its not default) to toggle between nav and gps. Make sure hos is selected and the nav hold works like a charm. I use it alllll the time. Simply make a flight plan and it will follow. But I have noticed every once In a while it will kick off on mine. But I think it's me really that's doing it. So
1. Select button for nav/gps
2. Make sure gos is selected. Nothing here to actually visually see so get a flight plan. Hit ctrl n. if nothing happens then you are still using nav. Hit that button that you set. The hit ctrl n. should work.
3. Enjoy long flights.
