February 10 Group Flight - Warbirds Over SoCal

Bring your Mustang, Warhawk, Spitfire or Jug on a tour of the land of endless summer: Southern California. We take off from Catalina Island and fly east past San Diego along the US/Mexico border. Then north up the Imperial Valley, over the Salton Sea to Palm Springs, and west past Santa Ana and Los Angeles to land back at Catalina. Total distance is 367 nm.



Meet at: the Airport In The Sky, KAVX. Airfield elevation is 1,602 ft, runway length 2,971 ft.

Start time is 1900 Zulu (11am Pacific, 12 noon Mountain, 1pm Central, 2pm Eastern, 7pm GMT, 8pm CET . . . and 8am Monday, NZDT).

Ok clearence ill be present, just need to find out what version of joinFS to use and set my repaints up now as the P-40 has a whole heap of new crackers to try

Is join FS any good?

JoinFs has worked almost flawlessly for us for over a year now. The only consideration is to make sure the version you download is the same as, or compatible with, the version the server is running. Sometimes they're not backwards compatible, and The Skypark usually don't use the latest version right away.

Right now most of us are using version 4.1.20 of JoinFS, on the Skypark server, a.k.a. "hub." Communication is on the MP Flying Chat 1 voice channel on the A2A Community group on Discord.
