September 16th. New Zealand South Island Adventure!

Post by Corsair015 »

I have volunteered to be the organizer for the next event, so why not do it in my home country of New Zealand?

This time we will be taking a South Island adventure, taking off from NZCH (Christchurch), following the coast, and eventually ending up at our warbird central airport, Wanaka (NZWF). If time permits, we will be going from there, past Queenstown (NZQN), to Stewart island (The airstrip there isn't worth landing at, although, a low pass would suffice) and then back up to Invercargill (NZNV).
Along the way, we will be sightseeing the beautiful Canterbury plains, the Southern Alps, and Fiordland (to name a few)

The starting time is as normal, 1830 Zulu. Weather set to real (if the weather is good) and time is 12:00PM Sim.
Aircraft can be your choice, although it should be a tad on the fast side since this flight, although it would give better time to look at stuff, would take too long in smaller, slower, aircraft.

See you there!
