I agree completely, apologies for calling flight sim a game but I had to call it that for dramatic effect.
My wife called my flight simulator a game once.......once.

I have a suggestion for Scott and Lewis if they are willing. Send an email to every customer in your database with an A2A Warbird with a short questionaire asking them if they would be willing to pay for a TacPac addon like Accusim is to the standard B-17 or other aircraft and would they be willing to pay $?? for it. Not everyone is a forum member I am sure so this way you would poll all the A2A aircraft owners and if the response is sufficient then you can decide if the effort will generate enough revenue for you to undertake the mesh. Are you willing to give it a go? I for one am willing to pay for a TacPac mesh to the B-17. How many guys are there just in the 91st BG? I'll bet everyone would jump through a hoop for a Tacpack for the Fortress.

I would like TacPack for the A2A birds. Air combat is fun, and I really don't like being forced to fly WW1 planes in ROF if I want a good bomber/gunner experience.

Live guns on my P-40 would be nice. But what I really want is four .50s in the nose of my DC-3! I fly into some pretty crazy places, and the door gunner can't always handle all the action with that little M-60.

I can understand that A2A does not want to invest in a complete Tacpac conversion if the demand is not there. But would a limited TacPac functionality not be a possibility? I thing that many of us would enjoy just being able to fire the guns of a P-51 or P-40, even if we can’t use bombs or rockets. Would such a limited modification not be feasible? Even the gunsight is already in the – or most - standard products. I know that I could probably cobble something together myself, but I think it takes time and knowledge to do it properly. Perhaps even an outside party would be willing to develop a simple but effective Tacpac upgrade and sell it through A2A. I, for one, would not mind paying for the added functionality.

Read over the whole thread. People at the VRS forums have already added live guns to A2A aircraft.

Thanks! I missed that! Dowloaded the files, and they also have sound and tracer effects.

Myself and other members of the VRS forums are currently working to enable Tacpack weapons on the B-17 and P-47 (Accusim). These weapons will include bombs for the B-17. Please remember that neither A2A nor VRS are responsible for any problems, either real or imagined.

B-17 package ready for download at Flightsim.com. The P-47 package is still in work.

No one from the 91st BG would be using TacPac as we fly on the DigitalThemePark servers. TacPac
is banned from those servers do to issues with 'ghosts' being generated which require a server
re-boot to clear.

So if I purchase the Tacpac I can add it to any plane?
