FASA will be hosting an Aerobatic Clinic for those interested in getting a taste of simulated competition aerobatics. The clinic will be hosted by "AcroGimp". It will not be a competition, but it will be a general introduction to what competition aerobatics is.

My thoughts:
Before thinking to perform advanced aerobatics in FSX i am missing a good addon at aerobatics market. Helicopter market is equal difficult, but there is at least dodosim delivering presently one best overall simulation.
At aerobatics market there are nice textures delivered by alabeo, but the typical FSX problem-areas (like stall situations or rudder reactions) we all know are not solved or avoided by addons themselves. Rudder reactions can be genrally improved by switching control inputs to FSUIPC. Until now i never flew an aerobatic addon that makes me happy giving a base to work with a plane the correct way.

Hoping for A2A accusim providing aerodynamic and aerobatic friends products

There are two addons that exist right now that are good enough to accurately do 95% of the Arresti Figures.

The payware Iris Christian Eagle and the freeware long island classics.

There is a Freeware Zlin 50 and the edge 540, although the edge floods MP servers.

Anyway, there are a few people I am aware of that are looking into different methods to make better flight dynamics for various Addons..

thanks for reply, i transferred my question into "pilots lounge" hoping we get as much as possible reactions, ideas or inputs.

I also tested Thom´s Edge 540 in beta, which was in parts a real improvement. But until now i had not found any "completed" and up to date, quality base to work with.

For the moment i will have a look at the payware Christen Eagle II, thanks.
