A2A B-17's of the 91st BG - Mission videos

Post by Gypsy Baron »

Here is a link to a video shot by Col. Bates of the 91st Bombardment Group (H)
during our recent mission, number 74, from Bassingbourn to Frankfurt and back.
This is just the final segment of 5 hours worth of video shot during the mission.

We had 13 A2A B-17G's on this mission and this video shows our return and landing
at Bassingbourn.

Here is another link to a video I shot during a 'test' of the scenery and effects
I created for an upcoming mission, number 81, to Münster.

We at the 91st fly missions on a regular basis on the Digital Theme Park servers
and anyone that is interested in flying with us should visit our web site:

Our next scheduled mission is a re-run of Mission 47 to Hülls to be flown this
Friday, 21 September, with takeoff at 2100 UTC. This mission is scheduled for
a more convenient time for our members who live 'down under'. Our regular missions
have a scheduled takeoff of 1400 or 1500 UTC on Saturdays.

Thanks Lewis. Yes, that 'Norden' is a one I added all the A2A B-17G-specific functions ()PDI, C-1 control, etc) and
decided to incorporate a drift meter and the ability to change the sight angle from +90 to -45 degrees. That lets
me stay 'on the target' after the drop and collect BDA as the aircraft passes over and beyond.
