"Combat Pilot" PayToPlay MP Service.. Looks Interesting!

Post by Buzz313th »

I just found this and was curious if the press release that "A2A" is making three aircraft for this service is true?

•(3) detailed aircraft (created by A2A) including: CP-T-6B/CP-AT-6B, CP-T45C, and CP-T-38C (a $75 value). These aircraft can be flown both inside the Combat Pilot multiplayer environment as well as offline via FSX.

Heres the link...

And here is the link to the main webpage... FYI, I have absolutely nothing to do with this and if by me placing this link on the forum is frowned upon by A2A, then please just remove it.. http://combatpilotseries.com/

Personally it looks like they will be trying to tie in the VRS tac pack with this service to build a MP community.

The three aircraft supplied in FTO were developed by A2A
simulations; they have done their usual great job. You will never have to buy
an aircraft however, you may, for a nominal fee, have access to future aircraft
provided by a number of third party developer including Iris, and Razbam. These aircraft will all be integrated into
Combat Pilot; checklist, weapons, and training flights.

Yeah.. all very interesting...

Curious who these guys are getting to instruct in "Tactical Naval Aviation". Looks like a big step in the flight sim community for a "Pay To Play" Multiplayer Environment.

Pretty "Gutsy" if you ask me. I'm sure they will sell subscriptions, but unless they have some really good authentic instruction that other "Free" communities don't offer, then my guess is that it could be a hard sell in the future. That is, unless developers such as A2A, Razbam, Iris and VRS really tighten this up to be a something you can't find elsewhere.

Holy Smokes... I can see some of the "Stuff" that A2A is working on now...

I can only guess that the F4 might very well make it's way into the "Combat Pilot" MP Service.

Wow...!
