I am so ready for some Spitfire multiplayer flying! I'm one of the many having some problems with gamespy though. TS3 is already installed!

I too am in GMT+1 :)

if its a problem connecting here is how to get in;

Log on when USA is asleep,
then change rooms from freeflight to something like bush flying,
Log off
Now each time you log on you will go into the quiet bush flying room

The issue with disconnects on connection is overload, and the fix above should sort you out 8)

FANTASTIC shots Ron!!!!

My side of the flight with Ron.

Sorry not many, I was having hardware problems but will get them sorted. Also I forgot to turn off collisions so no really close stuff yet.

A great time was had and some usefull performance figures learned by both of us. I had to do a full power climb to chase Ron after my undercarriage refused to raise after take off. Still I caught up eventually.

BTW, no ILS beacons were damaged in the making of these pictures

And Ron, mate THIS is how you shoot :P

OK, I have set up a Gamespy account and have the Teamspeak3 Client installed so I believe
I have everything I need to do some online virtual flying with the new Spitfire.

Everything, that is, except a clue as to how to find/connect to others using the two products above.

I've flown online extensively in Air Warrior and Aces High but have not ventured into the FSX
virtual skies.

If someone could PM me the basics, I would be very grateful.

Roger, copy! :)

Be advised that I shall be piloting a B-17G with the 447th BG on a mission to Germany Saturday evening
in the Aces High "Battle Over Germany" scenario.

Hey Ron, Darryl, nice shots :)

Good news for the MP flights with the B-17s: the spits will make it! 1800 rpm, "weak" mixture, -5.9" boost and radiator at "gun warming" give 157 mph IAS at 28500' with a consumption of 24 (i)gph so enough for a 3:30 cruise following the climb :)
We're expecting an escort of 4 spits around 11 fortresses for Saturday!

Happy flying,
David

No problem. We exchange all the flight plan and login information through e-mail so you can just contact me at fsx.elington@orange.fr and I'll send you the files for tomorrow's session.

Happy flying,
David

David,

Thanks mate...I doubt I will make it now tomorrow, we are about to have a Cat 3 hit us, once every in 30 years and it has to be NOW!! 965 and falling!

Wish us luck.

Darryl

I'd love to get into some MP flying. Just downloaded TS3. I've never done MP on FSX, though I have had experience on 2004.

Living at 45° North latitude in Europe I've never experienced a cyclone. We had a once-in-a-century bad one twelve years ago which just tore apart 10+% of all trees on its way but I guess it would probably make you want to have a walk outside compared to this :(

Well good luck and see you soon online in your spit,
David
