Bah we bomber guys have a more "serious fun" toying with the E6-B and looking around to know where we're going!Gypsy Baron wrote:killerwatt wrote:WoW! Great pics. Looks like you guys had fun.
I know us Spit pilots did, flying circles around the 17's It took a steady hand
to stay close in and match the 17's speed. I preferred flying high cover or diving
down and coming back through the formation up from their 6

As long as we are all having a good time, that's what counts. I may dust off my B-17G cap and get ScheherazadeElington wrote:Bah we bomber guys have a more "serious fun" toying with the E6-B and looking around to know where we're going!Gypsy Baron wrote:killerwatt wrote:WoW! Looks like you guys fly on Saturdays - I can't make it until around 11pm. Or friday evenings after 9pm (UK Times) if anyone is interested. Which Gamespy lobby do you use and what server name?
btw guys I'm running without Accusim until they can fix some sound problems - would that cause a problem?
Hi GB, remember any of the 56 RAF guys from Aces High? We've been in IL-2 for several years now, witch, RGJ etc. Maddox's new Storm of War, well the renamed "Cliifs of Dover" , comes out in March. But this little baby looks likely to kick its backside for the actual flying experience.

the constant "land grab" mentality that dominates the Main Arenas these days. That probably
comes for being weened on Air Warrior back in the days when it was predominantly an
air to air multiplayer environment.
Boy, do I ever miss those days!

We miss those big scenarios too. The best was when I was actually on the ground as the 11 Group radar Controller in a BoB scenario. Happy days.
