Okay, we also try to fly by the book using dtailed flight plans and have 1 to 6 hour flights in general. Though we do missions and fly accross western europe we also have a hop list that cover half the globe. If any of you ever want to do a joint flight just send me an email at dmscully87@gmail.com and we can set something up.

Leg 26: YPLC (Port Lincoln - mainland Australia) to YLMT (Launceston - Tasmania), with a flight plan cooked by Capt. Kilstorm who was leading the flight today ;)

Hum... complete overhaul maybe? :D
Image
Got a second crash later on while recklessly taxiing in the rough between two runways... which required a complete restart of the session as I was hosting, sorry again guys. I modified my FSX MP start-up config and from now on my Fort will be unbreakable right from the start :|

Great shots there, Ron.

One small point...the shot you I.D.'d as "Fuddy Duddy" , 2-7400, is actually "Scheherazade", 231225.

I was somewhere towards the back of the pack I think :)

Nice pics Ron, just a few more from your 7 o'clock :)

However group #2 had to "hold" at FLI to wait for the rest of the flight (very very strong crosswinds aloft)

Waooouuuuch, clearing the edge of the cliff by 30 ft.... The problem with doing the reconnaissance in a P-47, the B-17 won't climb at the same rate :| . Fortunately I had enough initial speed to pull a +2000 fpm from the old lady!

Good screenshots Ron ! Thanks for sharing.

Best of of mine:

Taxiing at Tamworth. Orbx addon is really awsome... Some taxiways are limited to 8000kgs, I guess that after rolling with our B-17 they have to rebuild some...
Image

What a nice formation !
Image
That is the good point of view after I've been disconnected :(

First take off ... was looking good before damned "Runtime Error"

Is is Seagulls fishing bellow ?

And special thanks to 91stBG guys, I wonder how they pratice bombing flying like that ? :)

Cheers, Romain.

In multiplayer, when I've flown with another A2A B-17, it substitutes it (them) for only the paints I have, how does one see the other's paint schemes?

I think I should take Carlson's Raiders out for a spin with you guys someday

That Spitfire looks like his engine is out, and feathered (feathering is impossible in a single...)

You have to download the repaints, put the folders in your WoP2_b17g folder and then add the entries to your aircraft.cfg file. Most of the repaints can be found on Nathans reapint-site. I'm sure you're wellcome to join in! Throw David an email to get on the maillinglist.

The prop of the spitfire appears stationary on the Spitfire, if you're not flying one yourself. Actually the other spitfires propeller will be in the same state as yours when flying online; so if your engine is shut down theirs' will be aswell and vica-versa. It has to do with the new modularity of accusim. (Something you actually should have added to the review imho. :) )

/Lasse
