Hi,

I'm in! UTC+1.

I suggest TeamSpeak - I can host a server if required.

Best regards,
Robin.

Nice! I updated the roster ;)

So I will go and try to prepare a small flight plan that can bring us up enough to see the contrails and back.
Once again suggestions and comments welcome.

You guys have already flewn in multiplayer in FSX? (I'm far from a specialist myself actually but I checked everything was OK last week-end with a friend)

Best regards,
David

I fly quite a lot in FSX mp, so I've got some experience with it. Its fine ;-). Someone has to host a server there, and we should be fine. I volunteer to create a fsx multiplayer server.

Greetings,

Lukas

No probs with FSX MP here!

Suggest you do it stand-alone and not via GameSpy. Will need to meet up on TS or something first to get the server IP address.

Robin.

Never tried that but getting rid of possible Gamespy disconnections is definitely a good start!
Unless we have other volunteers then maybe Robin you can PM Lukas and me to give it a try, let's say tomorrow, sunday 23rd, 14:00 UTC+1 ?

David

I think that's a great plan. I do not however know how to set up a server outside of gamespy. For that someone else should do it :-P

Uhm, on the time, could it be possible to have it one hour later? 15:00 utc +1 (so 14:00 local right?)

Greetings

I would love to be apart of this but I think I missed it already. I'm -5:00 Zulu time (I assume UTC and Zulu is the same). Let me know if I missed this.

Sure! Actually it is what I wanted to propose too but my post was not clear at all!
So OK for 14:00 local (for the Brussels, Madrid... timezone i.e. "UTC+1") which gives 12:00 UTC for me (and not 13:00, because of the daylight saving time).
Always such a headache :(

Hi Norforce and Hog Driver, I added you to the roster.

If you don't mind I propose to try and coordinate a flight with you for next week-end (May 29th - May 30th), so that we can arrange things regarding the time-zones. Actually we could even organize different flights to suit the different time zones if we get other interested guys along the way.

In the meantime we will try to test the procedure today May 23rd 12:00 UTC. VulcanB2 proposed to set up a TS server, let's hope he will check the forum this morning :) I'll have a look at this too, and about the version same for me I'm on TS3.
I can host the multiplayer flight no problem.

Stay tuned!
