Where next?

Post by Paughco »

Who wants to lead the next flight?

I've got an idea for the next time it's my turn: We leave KHAF, fly up the coast and under the Golden Gate Bridge. Then we buzz the tower at KSFO, do a touch and go at KSQL, then fly through the dirigible hangar at KNUQ, then back over the hill to KHAF. I know you can fly a DC-3 through that hangar in FS2004; I need to check if it can be done in a T-6 in P3Dv4.2.

Yep. It can be done. 8)

After browsing the charts, how about this one: Salzburg (LOWS) to Innsbruck (LOWI) through the valleys via Zell Am See. 116nm, not as challenging as the Yakima River canyon, but should be some spectacular scenery.

I think T-6s because the view is better, but Comanches will work nicely too. I've flown the route a couple of times and even the default scenery is quite an eyeful.

Are we all up for this on Sunday at 2000 Zulu, or does anyone have another suggestion?

I'll be there.

Just flew the route in my Comanche. The weather was "iffy." Might just use the default clear weather on Sunday.
