I loaded the Spitfire + accusim yesterday then went into multiplayer & got a FSX crash/lockup with a C++ error message!
I have never had this problem until I loaded the Spitfire. I'm using FSX(sp 1 & 2), win XP sp3. The Spitfire loaded something to do with DirectX but it was over before I could see what it was. I thought I had the latest version but I now have 9c.
I haven't used the Spitfire much in freeflight so I can't comment on that just yet.

Any comments?

Maybe a problem in installing FSX ?

Here is a full install method - your problem could be at step 1 - the latest version of C++ needed ?

1) Install using this method:

STOP once you get to "You are now ready to make your FSX.cfg edits and TUNE FSX" - ignore the rest.

2) Test it works. Maybe not great FPS but just that it works. Screen resolution same in game that it is on your PC.

3) If you have an NVIDIA card go here:

4) Now to setup your FSX.cfg go here:

It will do it all for you.
