Different kind of repaint

Post by mgr »

Hi,

For my own pirvate Spitfire, i've repainted the instruments to look like white/green ones, mainly of the later mark Spitfires so far i know.

Don't know if they were also used in retrofits during the war, for the earlier types, like the Mk II en Mk V.

They are based on real-life photo's of various spitfire instruments. Modified are:
- Airspeed (minor)
- Altitude (complete renumbering and colouring)
- Turn/Slip (some colouring)
- VIS (some colouring)
- PRM (complete renumbering and colouring)

What do you guys think and should i release it?

Very nice.. unlikely to have been a period fit but could easily be a Warbird fit.
