I just purchased the Spitfire for P3d V4 and I am enjoying the experience (smashed 2 "airscrews" on the first day but now I getting the hang of the plane). I was wondering if the Tilly orifice is fitted to the A2A Spitfires in this package. The accu-sim manual states that it was fitted to all front line fighters.
I see the engine coughing when I push down the nose, but this was not at full power. Just wondering.
Thanks for this great looking and flying plane.
Regards.

Re: Tilly orifice, is it installed
Hi Johan
The Spitfire I is done as at Marchish-Mayish 1940 and so, no, it does not have the orifice and does not like Neg G.
Likewise the Spitfire II does not have it as it is modelled slightly later in the Battle of Britain period.
Miss Tilly didn't "do her stuff" until 1941.
regards
Darryl

Thanks for the quick reply, fortunately I have not encountered any ME109's yet.
