Was wondering what a Spit Mk IIb painted with german camo would look like.
This is a fictitious paint I came up with.

Tried to do some minor translating. Don't know if the translations are right or grammatically correct.

I too LOVE the Spit and am eagerly awaiting the upgrade to P3d v4.

Because I think that the luftwaffe camo patterns used during WWII are interesting I just wanted to see how one style would look on the Spit.

Oh no! This waiting for the upgrade must be affecting me in bizarre ways!!!!

Interesting paint job, George. My only bitch is that I don't like seeing bullet holes on a Spitfire!!. That said, all sides had captured examples of their opponents planes, so it's a valid paint job as far as I'm concerned. This one looks very Focke Wulf to me as late war camo schemes tended towards greys, however by 1945, planes were being painted any colour the manufacturer could lay their hands on. Dunkelgrun and RLM02 interior grey/green was also common. A search of the Large Scale Planes forum Ready for Inspection will reveal many Luftwaffe schemes, if you're interested or looking for ideas. Here's one I did for a Messerschmitt 109K.
