Update didn't fix radio problem

I did the Spitfire update for 7/15/2014 but the radio still doesn't show the tuned frequency.
Also, my sim cockpit external radio doesn't turn on since the 1.6 core update.
Radio tunes but the freq. change isn't displayed.
