Repaint: AB910

Post by brad617 »

Hi all,

With the 70th Anniversary of D-Day coming up I was thinking what I could do in my own little way to commemorate the event. So, here is Spitfire Vb AB910 as she looked on the 6th June 1944 whilst flying air support over the beaches. In 1996 after a major overhaul she was once again painted in these colours, unfortunately and rather surprisingly there aren't too many reference pictures to work from but here I have tired my best to get it as accurate as I can.

Hope you enjoy flying her: http://rapidshare.com/share/0624E1AAB65 ... B72E8AD32C

Many thanks,
Brad
A Spitfire arrived around the end of the hangar at near enough 10ft slaloming though the dispersal pylons. He then landed, got out in a waist coat and suit trousers, unfold a suit jacket from the luggage hold and put it on. He was Sqn Ldr Ray Hanna.
