A2A SPIT with or without 1.5 accusim crashing FSX

on my new W7 computer , every other addon is working fine , what should i try .

Have you updated your direct X9 on the new computer?

Thanks Lewis, that fixed it, this happened because i disconnect my flight computer from the internet and as i was installing the Spit i just assumed DX was fine with windows 7 , so i just canceled the spitfire installation dx update window when it appeared . Maybe this will help when another idiot such as myself tries to install the plane .

Not an idiot at all, don't ask won't know. The biggest support issue we have (And i therefore assume other devs) is the old FSX SP2 issue. Even the most seasoned FSX simmer will sometimes forget to update FSX upon a reinstall and suffer from the strange effects of running an SP2 add on in a stock FSX installation.

I'd much rather people use these forums for asking, its what they are here for. Happy flying, on your new system, much an upgrade for you?

Huge , went from C2D 6600 to a I5- 3570K , 2gb 667 to 4gb 1600mhz , and the difference is this , i can visit all airports , Canberra for instance , i set polys for the entire field and FPS are smooth , before it would just hiccup and stutter bad , unflyable.

Awesome stuff, enjoy the new system, and don't forget that 4GB could still be easily upgraded for faster load times hehe
