If you fly your Spitfire with the zoom all the way out in the cockpit, you may have noticed the corners of the canopy disappear a bit when you turn your head. This can be especially noticable when you are fogging up. I'm not sure if everyone experiences this, or if it is just on certain display settings. Also, I have no idea if this fix has been done and mentioned already, I just found it while playing around tonight.
Anyhow, simply go into your aircraft.cfg file, scroll until you find the [Views] section, and change the third number to 1.9, so it reads:
[Views]
eyepoint=-5.0,0.0,1.9
Backup the original file in case you don't like it and you're all set. This will lower the viewpoint by just a tiny little bit. The nose is still visible through the windscreen, and the landings may be just a touch harder with the changed view point, which I like since the Spitfire is so easy to land. Also, as I'm only 5'8", this is probably more realistic for me!

Hope this helps someone!
