This Yank loves the Spitfire as well, especially the early variants. It's got some of the most beautiful lines I have ever seen on an airplane. I'm looking forward to the Mustang, but I'm not sure if it's going to be a day one purchase like I knew the Spit was going to be.

General Yeager would be extremely upset at me for saying that. LOL!

As a Brit who was brought up on watching Battle of Britain ("You could teach monkeys to fly better than that" and "Dagadagadaga") I should pick the Spit. But I can remember my cousin giving me a huge ready made plastic model of a P-51 when I was about seven (still have it in the attic I think).
My eyes must of nearly popped outta my head. That was when I fell in love with most things aviation I think. From then I was drawing planes, and cutaways of planes. And considering my first job was drawing Sikorsky helicopters I pretty much can trace it all back to seeing that Mustang model.

Plus I love nose art, so that pretty much makes it the Mustang for me. And the extra range helps. Loving the A2A Spit for now though.
