AWESOME!
I don't recall being unable to pull as hard as I like and get away with it in FSX before!
Very nice work guys!! Spins nicely, too.
Best regards,
Robin.

Re: Accelerated Stall
You have just discovered something that REALLY impressed me during the Beta process. The stall characteristics above 1g for the Spitfire are just dead on for the flight model, especially out of turns. The buffet and the stall break are extremely well modeled into the Spits.VulcanB2 wrote:AWESOME!

You pull these airplanes too hard and there is a price to pay, something the sim pilots will now have to consider down low in the pattern.
For the first time that I've seen anyway in MSFS, you get ham handed with one of these fighters on your base turn and you could very well end your flight a bit early )

I was giving her a go in some verticle climbs hard rudder diving and put her into a stall - just about shook my fillings out of my teeth.

It is a very fun aircraft to do controlled spins in at altitude - preferring 6-10,000 FT to play with.

I found the spin dynamics to be extremely good right on down to the forward stick to break the stall and the amount of rotation after anti-spin rudder was applied.Bomber_12th wrote:It is a very fun aircraft to do controlled spins in at altitude - preferring 6-10,000 FT to play with.
Power off as the spin goes past incipient. Important!
Have fun! )
