Hey, Tom.

Looks like a great repaint, so I downloaded it and tried to unzip the file,
"A2A SPITFIRE RAF Lambeth W by Tom_Weiss.zip"

During the extraction process WinZip gave me an error while extracting the, spit_t.dds file;

"Extracting spit_t.dds
CRC check failed for "F:\A2A Repaints\New folder\spit_t.dds" -- expected A9309795, actual 674E5B9E.
Severe Error: CRC of extracted file does not match header value."

Tried re-downloading the zip file, no joy.

Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

George

BTW, I may be wrong but your "texture.cfg" file included in the zip file is for the, texture_a version.

Thanks Lewis :)

-

try 7zip - sometimes winzip gives that kind of error because of the OS

Hiya Tom,
Just to let you know 50% of the RNLAF roundels have the wrong orientation. Red should always on the right side. So under the wing and on the left fuselage, they should be mirrored to get the red right.

Cheers,

Marcel

the roundels gave me a bit of an headache - Polly Grey changed markings over time, details were added and then dropped, there is even one with Italian Air Force roundels, if you can find a more accurate one, let me know, the roundels are easy to edit.

this is the side view I used

Hi Tom,

Just checked:
Dirty one -> Fuselage oke on both sides
Clean one -> Left Fuselage (red on the left side, so should be flipped. (was the one i initially downloaded)

Both -> underside wings, red is on the left, so both should be flipped.

The "polly grey" and "322 squadron crest" were only stickers and were only on the plane for a good year or so.

Regards,

Marcel
