Aircraft fails to repair after an accident

Post by sooty tern »

Hi,
I pranged my Accusim Spitfire Ia on landing and broke the prop. Each time I start FSX and select the spitfire the broken 2-blade prop appears. I can go to the hangar and get it repaired, even change to the 3-bladed prop, and it appears correctly back on the runway. The hangar checklist gives a clean bill of health. Unfortunately, the Spit then settles vertically onto its nosecone complete with unbroken prop. In desperation I uninstalled FSX and installed the Steam edition instead. Same result... I'm a tech novice and have no idea how FSX works. Suggestions gratefully received.

Aircraft fails to repair after an accident

The first thing I would do is go into the files found at: computer/documents/A2A/Spitfire and delete the contents. It will reset your Spitfire to zero hours and no damage. See what happens when you try a restart afterwards.

Hello,

do you have the Spitfre + The Spitfire Accu-sim package or just the Spitfire without Accu-sim?

How are you loading your flight are you starting a new flight.

Make sure the spitfire is also not the default flight in the simulation.

thanks,
Lewis
