How do I hand start this thing?
I have accu-sim installed for it. I read the manual, searched the manual and all I can figure out is I guess I have to use the pop-up menu and click on auto-start?
Re: How do I hand start this thing?
You have to change views to the hand start view (looking from the right to the nose and propeller). There you can grab the propeller blase with the mouse (clickspot on propeller blade). So you can pull it down. with fuel on, throttle cracked and primer depending on OAT, this will take some attempts.

I know I have to hand prop the J3. What function do I use so that I can grab the prop with the mouse?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: How do I hand start this thing?
Press the left mouse button and hold it while you swing the prop.

Thanks Chris I got it. When reading the manual I didn't see that you had to click through A until you got to the proper position.

You can also use the paddle to move around on the water.
