I just bought a Piper cub for 20 dollars and it bought two :( . So I was downloading it and it said it cant find the Piper cub in the folder. So I tried and tried so I lost 40 dollars on a 40 dollar visa card. Also I cant even download the plane. I love the Accu-sim Aircraft I already bought the C172 which I love. So if anyone can help me fix this and get my 20 dollars back it will be great thanks.

Hello,

Please can you PM me it sounds like you purchased the Accu-sim package but not the aircraft itself, please also create new threads as it can get complicated very quickly when people use one thread for multiple issue unrelated.

thanks

scarecrowtor wrote:I have followed your instructions and get the same response. I had moved FSX to a new folder in C: and it does not show in the install (FSX not found) yet I've used the browser and set the path to it. C:\FSX\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\sim objects\Airplanes and installed but still the results show installation cancelled. I know I have fat fingers and minimum knowledge but I have done the same with other downloads and have been successful.
Hello,

I would first ask how you moved the FSX as if you copy/pasted this will cause all manner of issues and errors. Also regarding the install the correct path for FSX on your system would be this; C:\FSX\Microsoft Flight Simulator X

If you are add the simobjects and aircraft folder in that would be why you are encountering issues as you had gone past the FSX directory. If its a clean FSX install this should be picked up automatically anyway so no need to change what the installer will read from your system registry hence my question about copy/paste installation of FSX.

thanks

Hello Chris and Lewis...........I tried the recommended fix that was in the download and repaired FSX. It went to Program (86) and I downloaded the a\c, but still got the same result. It seems the download can't find FSX no matter where I send it
