Then you need to take the matter up with flightsim and redownload the purchase.

You should have 2 *.exe files

A2A piper J3.exe
and
A2A piper J3 accusim.exe

When you get these files right click on them and the click on run as administrator and they will self install run the piper j3 first then the accusim then go to this forum and download the latest updater and install that the same way.

here is a link to the updater
http://www.a2asimulations.com/downloads ... _20_14.zip

hope this helps
regards Chris.

Just go to their shop like you did to purchase the product and then to your account and redownload it.

Go to your account at the place you purchased it from and redownload it.
It sounds like a corrupt file, are you using a download accelerator,if so turn it off.
As I said there are two *.exe files .

Hello,

did you explain to the store what happened and have you since tried a re-download? Do you have experience at downloading files from the internet, happy to help but will need some more information. The normal process is download to a safe location on your computer then run the files to run the installer as you would normally to install software. Follow the on screen instructions and the software will be installed.

thanks,

Lewis I have done exactly that and as Speedy 70 says it must be a corrupt file. I re-downloaded and received the same response. When I open the zip file it shows............PiperJ3_v1.1_update
............SHO-205.exe.....the second download shows SHO-210.exe

That is correct you have The SHO205.exe and SHO210.exe and the update 1.1.exe

These are the piperj3 cub and the accusim for the cub and the update1.1.

What you must do is to right click on the Exe file and cick run as administrator then follow the instructions.

When you have installed the aircraft exe file next you do exactly the same with the accusim SHO210 and the unzipped exe file.

Then the same with the update 1.1.

Then go to the forum and download the latest updater and run that as you did the above. You will find the updater details here
http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 23&t=41279
and the updater here
http://www.a2asimulations.com/downloads ... _20_14.zip

Then you must read the manual found under start /all files/A2A/J3CUB.

Re: download problem says cant find it

Post by PilotBlake101 »

Hello PilotBlake101

I just bought a Piper cub for 20 dollars and it bought two :( . So I was downloading it and it said it cant find the Piper cub in the folder. So I tried and tried so I lost 40 dollars on a 40 dollar visa card. Also I cant even download the plane. I love the Accu-sim Aircraft I already bought the C172 which I love. So if anyone can help me fix this and get my 20 dollars back it will be great thanks.

I have followed your instructions and get the same response. I had moved FSX to a new folder in C: and it does not show in the install (FSX not found) yet I've used the browser and set the path to it. C:\FSX\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\sim objects\Airplanes and installed but still the results show installation cancelled. I know I have fat fingers and minimum knowledge but I have done the same with other downloads and have been successful.
