A2A Cub mixture control?

Post by Basil26 »

I keep reading about leaning the engine out at higher altitudes and FSX puts up messages to the same effect, but I can't see a mixture control on my cub...

Hello,

there is no control for this in the standard cub, you tend not to be flying all that high in the cub anyway

thanks,
Lewis

Well, depending on your local laws....

I know in the default cub you can turn on auto-mixture, but I'm not sure what that would do to an A2A plane.

EDIT: Probably should have looked at the date.

Spork there is no mixture to control in a standard cub so auto mixture in the default aircraft wouldn't do anything. It should be set to OFF for the Accu-sim simulations.

Thanks,
Lewis

The j3 cub modeled by A2A is super simple. I think compared to their other planes people are over thinking it. Fuel is just off or on no mixture to worry about. Throttle can be left full forward for entire flight and won't damage the engine as long as rpms stay within limit. Very simple basic flying
