SOLVED!!!---Help Please----Everything A2A gets "Fatal Error"

It Was SOUNDSTREAM . I had completely forgotton about it until I saw SkipperMac's post a few minutes ago. Disabled it in the dll.xml and the J-3 loaded and flew without a hitch.


Two days ago the Cub was flying perfectly. Today I selected it whil on the ground with the default. Soon as I double-clicked it :Fatal Error. Restarted FSX a few times, tried loading from the selection screen and ground with same results. Thinking that OPUS live camera was the problem, I turned it off, not a solution.The Cub .cfg files looked ok so I thought to try a "Repair" using Programs and Features.
When I selected the A2A J3 Cub a dialogue box reported that the Cub appears to have been Uninstalled already!.
Just from curiosity I checked uninstall/repair for each of my A2A programs and got the same message.
Reloaded FSX and checked: P-51 thumbnail appears but plane does not revolve (same as Cub). Click Fly Now and "Fatal Error"
Same problem with accu-sim and Accu-feel.
All other addon-s and default planes still work.
What has corrupted ALL my A2A add-ons? How can I fix it?
Hoping for a fast response. I really enjoy Accu-feel and my Cub (Civilian P-51 and Spitfire are ok too)

Hello,

what has changed on your system recently. Have you tried a reinstall. If it was all of the core aircraft which share files i'd suggest a dat change and some other things. But the programs you mention are unrelated and in completely different places on your computer so nothing should affect one another.

Thanks for the response Lewis. I cannot think of anything that has been added or modified in the last two days. The only anti-virus program is NOD 32 and it was turned off.
Reinstalling is the last line of attack...so I will try that tomorrow. Basically, I am working with a completely new install of both Win 7 and FSX acceleration. That is why this "glitch" today is such a surprise. I haven't even installed my A2A Spitfire and several other good planes and scenery.
Maybe tomorrow ...

I have tried everything that I know to get the J3 flying again.
This morning I rechecked the dll.xml, all the .cfg files, etc. The Add/Remove/repair in Programs and features still reports that the J3 is not installed.
SO...I let it delete the J3 and J3 Accu-Sim Entries and then reinstalled the J3 original and left off Accu-Sim and the updates.
Still get a Fatal Error as soon as the J3 preview screen shows the J3. I rechecked the Add/Remove list and there was a new entry for the J-3 but when I clicked "uninstall" that same popup again telling that it has already been uninstalled. Here is a copy of the Service Installer:

Is there some kind of "lock" or bug causing this?
Btw... the Civilian P-51 flies ok even though the Programs/Features reports it as being uninstalled.

When the J-3 as reinstalled I accepted the DirectX update but got the message that I already had a newer version.
So..I downloaded from your link and tried it again. Got the same message. I then tried to do a full UNINSTALL using Revo Uninstaller Pro. It returned the message "Install.Log not found" so uninstall failed.
Just tried to load the J-3 again but still getting the "Fatal Error".
Sometimes the Fatal Error is followed by a "want to restart FSX" message. Other times it is "Close the program".
At this point I don't have a clue about what to do. The only change that I recall is to Uninstall OPUS camera.
Only thing not done is a repair FSX Acceleration and FSX Deluxe. think that will fix it?
